Friday Letters 8-10-12

Photobucket

I really like this feature.  You can click on the icon to see who started it. :)

Dear Hubby:  We made it through the first week of school, the visit from your mother, an annoying week at work and all the hectic things that implies and still managed to not kill each other.  We rock.

Dear Kids:  I'm so proud of you how you've done this week.  I know next week will be harder once the novelty of kindergarten and second grade wear off but you did great and I know this is going to be a good year!  I'm lucky to have such great kiddos!

Dear Kids' Daycare Center:  We loved you for the last 4 years and I can't believe how you screwed us over.    I'm now left scrambling to find a sitter for my kids.  I guess the bright side is I can afford to pay pretty well for one just once a week and still pay less than what you charge me.  Ugh.

Dear AZ Bloggers:  Anyone have a sitter recommendation for Wednesday afternoons?  I need someone highly dependable and with reliable transportation.  Email me if you have somebody!

Dear Dad:  I'm looking forward to having dinner with you tonight and it was so sweet to invite Hubby to the baseball game later this month. We don't hang out often and while we have a pretty decent relationship at this point, it's nice that you thought of us.

Dear Boss Lady:  Sometimes you surprise me.  Thank you for being understanding of my childcare situation and being OK with my working from home on Wednesday afternoons until I can get this straightened out.  Work/Life balance is the one thing you've got right.

Dear Early Morning Conference Calls:  I'm aware I get in at 5:30 but these 6 a.m. conference calls are just a bit much.  Sets the wrong tone for my whole day.

Dear Brain:  I realize it's hot.  I realize you're not sleeping well.  I realize your job is one big clusterf*** but you gotta come up with what you want to be when you grow up.  Get crackin!

Dear Bicep or Tricep or Whatever Part Hurts:  Enough already.

Dear AZ Heat:  You can suck it!  It is so freakin' hot.  It's giving me headaches and making me exhausted and you're killing me here!

Dear Ronnie and Jenn:  Thanks so much for the encouraging texts and emails.  While this week hasn't been stellar, it's actually been a bit better than the week before.  Next week, I'll rock it!

Dear Draz:  You made my week this week and you know why.  Thank you!

Dear Friday:  You're funny....

Glad the little ones had a good week at school. Sounds like you've got so much going on but you're getting through it like a rockstar. You are an inspiration! x

One week down already!! yahoo!!!

Wow on your understanding boss situation..

if you can't find anyone, try Arizona Lullaby Guild, they have a lot of reliable sitters that you could book on a regular basis - older women. We've had good luck with them.

Hotter than balls here, I hate it.

I'm so glad your boss is being understanding, that's a big surprise, honestly!

You rock for being able to do 6:00 am conference calls. I'm not even coherent that early. lol

I don't even want anyone to look at me at 6:00 in the morning...I know I certainly don't want to talk to anyone.

Glad your kids had a great first week of school!

Ugh about the day care!! Hope you can work it out soon, and glad your boss is working with you!

Hoping no letter to new teachers means so far so good. :-)
