Feeling Better

Thanks for the responses yesterday.  Made me feel a lot better.  You always hear it...Things will look better in the morning...and sure enough, they do.  Has anything changed since that post?  No.  Not one thing has changed.  My car is still in the shop, my back still hurts (can you believe that?) and I still haven't won the lottery.  But I feel better.  I feel more at peace, more grateful for what I have.  I realize that in the grand scheme of life, my life really isn't such a hot mess.  I have a hubby and children who love me, parents that support me and help out and an awesome following on my little blog with people who will pipe up when I'm feeling down.  What more does a person need?

I have an appointment with my surgeon today.  I haven't seen him since before Thanksgiving.  According to my scale, I've lost 10 lbs since then.  We'll see what his scale says.  Now that I'm looking at it, that's only 3 lbs per month.  Hmmm...I definitely need to amp up the workouts and get moving.  I hope I get a little fill today too.  I can definitely eat way more than I should be able to and I know I get hungry before 3-4 hours between meals.  I'm a little worried about being overfilled after reading some recent experiences other bandsters have had but I also know that proper fill level is uberimportant when it comes to making the band work for you.

Just read that BOOBS 2.0 has been planned.  I'm hoping the finances are agreeable and I can go but we'll have to see.  So that's about it.  Hope y'all have a great Thursday!

Glad things are "feeling better" today. I am also thinking about going to BOOBS...if finances allow! Good luck with your doctor's appointment today!

I am going to try my hardest to go to Boobs this year. Checking into finances myself. Can you imagine how many Amandas there will be!?!??

I am glad today is better! I was talking about your car issues yesterday as a matter of fact. My sister is having problems with her car too. No one can seem to fix the damn thing!

I always have one irritating day when I am pissed that nothing seems to go my way, EVER. Then the next day I seem to feel better about how great things REALLY are. Life could always be worse but it takes me a minute to realize it!

Glad you are feeling better. We all have days (weeks, months, years, etc.) like that and I think that's one of the greatest things about blogland is getting little pick-me-ups when and where we need them the most. So simple and yet so fulfilling.

Yep.. Now a good day is 1. did you wake up and 2. did you take a poop?.. If answers are YES.. count it as a good day (take it from me)

Thank you, MandaPanda...That is exactly the advice I was hoping for! You are correct, it is my own habits that are causing the pb/slimming. I know that for sure. Can I just say I also really...I mean really disliked being called Mandy. I had one aunt whom didn't really have much to do with our family call me Mandy all the time. Grrr. But I do have one dear friend called Mandy. Perhaps if a few of us go to boob's we could be called the Amanda's! :) I was named after a character in a book. Myu mom claims that she really liked the name and NO one had the name..so there ya go.
